How to edit a PDF step by step

2. Add elements: text box, image, rectangle/ellipse/line, or highlight.
3. Position them on the right page; adjust size and color.
4. Download the edited PDF.

Tips

• Match the font/size of nearby text so an added line doesn’t look pasted on.
• Cover-then-type for a correction: a white rectangle over the old text, new text on top (note: the old text still exists underneath — for sensitive changes, redact instead).
• Flatten when done (Flatten PDF) so edits can’t be moved later.
